what to expect

Before starting counselling/therapy, it is necessary to have an assessment. This is charged at £25 and lasts approximately 30 minutes.

During the assessment I will ask you about yourself, your background and what you want from counselling.

If we decide to go ahead, we will agree a contract which will outline confidentiality, data protection, appointment times etc.

A session will last 50 minutes - the ‘counselling hour’. Sessions are charged at £35. Payment can be made via bank transfer or payment link, and is payable 48 hours before the session, as is cancellation.

We will agree a time and day that works for us both; generally speaking my availability is:

Mon, Wed, Thurs or Friday: 7-9pm,

Sat: 10am-12pm.
